The bumper bar also functions as an handle. It also has a large brake that's flip-flop-compatible and has a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than others but it's big enough to accommodate a decent-sized changing bag and there are additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable for babies from birth and can be paired with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children, there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens to make it perfect for naps or long walks. The magnetic 5-point harness is easy to use. It's also lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. The British brand Joie has a goal to "share happiness with parents who are expecting" by designing pushchairs that are "functional fashionable, stylish and ingenuous". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand's most recent product. It is designed to hold two children at once, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also features stadium-style seating, which allows both children to see the world around them.
At just over 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the lightest strollers for siblings on the market. It is suitable for use starting at birth, and can be used with a Joie car seat or carrycots. It's easy to drive, ride, lift and fold, and the clever frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding design is an outstanding feature. They were impressed by how quickly and effortlessly the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did observe that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces as compared to other models.
The front seat does not fully recline and the parents needed to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that could be made even better with a few tweaks. They are impressed by the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they need. It is compatible with a variety of car seats and folds up easily using a one-click mechanism. It also comes with plenty of extras that rival brands charge for separately, such as rain covers and liners.

It's also a good option for parents who plan to have an additional child in the near future who require a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange may not be cheap however its versatility will ensure it will last for a long time and increase its resale price. It can also take a buggy board, which will help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and part of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first company in the world of prams to concentrate on double all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is slim and sleek that can fit through doors and easily maneuver in tight aisles. It is among the smallest, most feature-packed double buggies on the market and has won many awards including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The seats are small enough to allow children of varying ages to sit comfortably together. They also have an independent reclining so that kids can pick their preferred seating position. The large canopy has an adjustable sun visor that can be removed and the storage basket is very roomy. It is compatible with two infant car seats with the purchase of adapters for car seats and can be used with almost all brands which is a major advantage.
The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk and could be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. It is priced higher than other double side-by-side buggies. But, it's built to last and comes with many features for the money. It's a good option for parents in urban areas who don't want to carry around a bulky stroller. The straps are padded, with a 5-point buckles and straps that are padded make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a fashionable and functional design. It's a great product, but not without flaws.
It provides very few additional features, both for kids and parents. There's a tiny side bin beside the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached and that's all the thing it offers. There are no cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem during long trips.
The seats aren't able to recline to a flat position, and the space between them is quite wide which is why our 5 year old had trouble lying back in a comfortable position. That's a shame considering it's a top-of-the-line model.
It's easy to move and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing stairs and slopes. It's also narrow enough to fit through most doorways and folds quickly for easy storage and transport. It can also be switched to mono mode with only three clicks, should you need more space or want to make a quick escape. It can even accommodate a third kid with the comfort wheeled board if you need to. It's expensive, but if you're on a budget there are alternatives out there. It's worth it though in the event that you're a huge fan of the brand and have money to spend.
